Duties
- Provide expert hair cutting, styling, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Offer additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction.
- Manage your own schedule, booking appointments and maintaining an organized client database.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by actively listening to clients’ needs and providing professional advice.
- Upsell complementary products and services to maximize client experience and salon revenue.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming workspace in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices when applicable, sharing expertise in barbering, styling, or customer service.
Experience
- Proven experience as a professional hairdresser with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating versatility in styling techniques.
- Skilled in barbering with the ability to perform precise cuts for all genders.
- Knowledge of store management principles including appointment scheduling and inventory control is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and understanding their beauty goals.
- Experience in eyelash extensions, makeup application, and upselling techniques enhances service offerings.
- Prior experience working independently or in a self-employed capacity is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for building your own clientele is essential.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to foster long-term client relationships.
