Freelance POS & Customer Service Trainer
Location: Multiple locations across Lincolnshire

About the role
We are looking for experienced freelance trainers to support an upcoming four-week training project across multiple locations in Lincolnshire.
The role will involve delivering engaging, practical training to retail colleagues, with a particular focus on point-of-sale systems, customer service and operational processes.
This is a short-term freelance assignment; however, there may be opportunities to work with us on future projects.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver clear and engaging POS system training.
- Support colleagues in building confidence using new systems and processes.
- Deliver customer service training in a practical retail environment.
- Adapt your delivery style to suit different levels of experience and ability.
- Answer questions and provide support during the training process.
- Complete any required attendance records, feedback forms or training documentation.
- Travel between assigned locations within Lincolnshire
About you
We are looking for trainers who have:
- Previous experience delivering POS, till-system or retail technology training.
- Strong customer service knowledge and experience.
- Experience delivering face-to-face training to groups or individuals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A confident, approachable and supportive training style.
- The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- The flexibility to travel to multiple locations across Lincolnshire.
Previous experience working within retail stores or supporting a retail system rollout would be highly desirable.
Freelance status
This opportunity is offered on a freelance, self-employed basis and is not a permanent or employed position.
Successful applicants must be set up to work as a freelancer, be able to invoice for completed work and be responsible for their own tax and National Insurance arrangements.
Project details
- Approximately four weeks of work.
- Multiple training locations across Lincolnshire.
- Dates and daily working hours will be confirmed during the recruitment process.
- Freelance daily rate: £200 per day.
- Travel expenses: £80 per day (total daily rate of £280 per day)
- Potential opportunities for further freelance projects following successful completion of this assignment.
