Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff for timely preparation
- Serve breakfast items efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist with food safety protocols, including proper handling and storage of food and beverages
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Clear tables promptly and ensure the dining area remains tidy throughout service
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, accommodating special requests, and ensuring satisfaction
- Support basic food preparation tasks when needed, such as setting up buffet stations or replenishing supplies
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to deliver swift, attentive service without compromising quality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food handling procedures
- Strong communication skills with an energetic approach to guest interactions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and order accuracy
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for specific duties
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy breakfast hours
