Due to staff retirement and relocation, we are looking for an experienced full-time Optical Assistant for our very busy city centre practice. The ideal candidate will be friendly, patient and enjoy working with people. You will possess a strong knowledge of prescription and lens terminology, and must have experience dispensing speactacles.
The ability to work alongside a small, well-established team and be able to cope with a busy working environment is vital.
Responsibilities include:
- Spectacle dispensing
- Spectacle repairs
- Practice administration
- Be able to communicate well with patients
Salary: competitive salary offered depending on experience and qualifications.
Working schedule: 4x weekdays (9am-5.30pm), Saturday 9am-4pm. Overtime available.
