About Us
Harrier Kitchens & Bathrooms is a newly refurbished, mid-to-high-end kitchen and bathroom showroom with ambitious plans for growth.
We are the sister company of Factory Bathrooms, an established local business that has been trading successfully in the area for over seven years. As our group continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced, driven and hands-on individual who can help develop the showroom, increase sales and deliver an excellent customer experience.
This is not a role for someone who simply wants to sit behind a desk. We need someone who is proactive, commercially minded and prepared to take ownership of projects from the initial customer consultation through to design, ordering and completion.
The Role
You will be responsible for helping customers plan and design high-quality kitchen and bathroom projects, while also supporting the continued development of the showroom.
You will work closely with customers, suppliers, installers and the wider management team to ensure projects are designed accurately, specified correctly and delivered to a high standard.
The role will also involve helping to create and update showroom displays, working with suppliers to introduce new products and bringing fresh ideas and innovation into the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Meeting customers and understanding their requirements, budget and design preferences.
- Carrying out site surveys and accurately measuring kitchens and bathrooms.
- Producing detailed CAD designs, plans and realistic customer presentations.
- Planning complete kitchen and bathroom projects.
- Preparing accurate quotations and product specifications.
- Managing customer projects from the initial enquiry through to order and completion.
- Following up enquiries and converting leads into sales.
- Working closely with suppliers, manufacturers and installers.
- Helping design, build and update showroom displays.
- Identifying new products, trends and opportunities for the showroom.
- Resolving customer or project issues professionally and efficiently.
- Supporting the wider team and contributing to the growth of the business.
- Keeping the showroom professional, organised and visually impressive.
What We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience designing and selling kitchens, bathrooms or other interior projects.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen and bathroom planning.
- Experience using CAD design software.
- Confidence carrying out accurate site measurements and surveys.
- A good understanding of products, installation requirements and technical specifications.
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage several projects at the same time.
- A proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused attitude.
- Confidence working independently and taking responsibility for results.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
Experience in both kitchens and bathrooms would be a major advantage, although candidates with strong experience in one area may still be considered.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position within a fast-paced and growing business.
The role requires flexibility. There may be occasions when additional hours are needed outside the usual showroom schedule, including during busy periods, showroom developments, display installations, supplier events or important project deadlines.
Any regular working pattern and expectations regarding additional hours will be discussed clearly during the interview process.
What We Offer
- The opportunity to play a major role in the development of a newly refurbished showroom.
- The backing of an established local bathroom business.
- A varied position with genuine responsibility and influence.
- The opportunity to work with quality mid-to-high-end products.
- Support from an ambitious and growing group.
- Opportunities for progression as the business expands.
- Competitive salary based on experience.
About You
We are looking for someone whose ambition matches ours.
You will be motivated, commercially aware and excited by the opportunity to help grow a showroom rather than simply maintain it. You should enjoy working at pace, solving problems, developing new ideas and delivering projects that customers are proud of.
To apply, please submit your CV along with a short covering note outlining your experience in kitchen or bathroom design, CAD planning, sales and project management.
