Job Summary
For this exciting role, you will be working alongside a young man who although has sustained a brain injury, is very active and partakes in many physical activities.
Knowledge of brain injury is desirable.
The role is for a casual worker; therefore, the hours are flexible, which would include some weekends.
The hours will include being in the house and out of the house, going away on holiday with the client.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the client with all activities of daily living -some assistance with dressing and personal care
- Working closely with the client to establish rapport and banter, a great working relationship and general support with professionalism always.
- An individual who is outgoing, personable, active, patient, driven, positive attitude, enthusiastic and dedicated. The role is not limited to assisting the client with his daily routine, but enabling him to be out and about in the community doing things he enjoys.
Requirements
- Prior experience is preferred, but a willingness to learn new skills is as important.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for transportation duties.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with client, family, and team members.
Pay: £15.16 per hour
