Office Administrator
We are looking for an office administrator to join our friendly team. Based in comfortable offices in the Rotherwas area. With free parking, local cafés and lakeside picnic area.
You will need to have a good level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Outlook.
We are looking for a dynamic personality who enjoys liaising with colleagues, work contractors, undertaking administration duties and handling all formats of correspondence.
The post is permanent and is subject to a six-month probation period. The appointment of the successful candidate is subject to the receipt of two satisfactory references and proof of right to work in the UK.
The working hours are 14 hours per week, Friday 09.00 – 17.00 and one other day or 2 half days, to be discussed, plus a one-hour unpaid lunch break between 13:00 and 14:00. We have a dedicated break room, with tea and coffee available. Overtime is payable by the hour if authorised. The position will command a salary of£10,000 per annum, with a company pension. Salary is paid monthly on the last working day.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide administrative support to Operations Manager, including diary management and handling correspondence, telephone calls, emails, and letters.
· Responsibility for maintaining, filing, and archiving of documentation in all formats.
· To prepare items for shipping, prepare despatch notes and liaise with couriers.
· To answer queries from customers to help maintain our excellent customer service record.
· To use our CRM system to order stock as required, log engineer tickets and maintain customer records.
Personal Specification
· Good standard of education to G.C.S.E. level grades A* - C or equivalent, including Maths and English.
· Previous experience of working in administration desirable.
· Confident working knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
· Effective communication in English, both written and verbally
· Trustworthy and diligent with a keen attention to detail
· Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently to deadlines
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Self-motivated, able to use own initiative and know when to seek advice
· Offer a positive welcome and professional response to all enquiries, with a confident and professional telephone manner
· Willingness to undertake all training relevant to the role
