We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Kitchen Porter / Assistant to join our friendly team. You will keep our kitchen running smoothly by maintaining cleanliness and helping chefs with basic food preparation.
Please note: This role includes late finishes. Due to our location and shift times, there is no public transport available, so having your own reliable transport is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware using the commercial dishwasher and by hand.
- Clean workstations, counters, floors, and equipment to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Organise deliveries and ensure food stock is stored correctly.
- Assist chefs with basic prep work like peeling, chopping, and washing ingredients.
- Manage waste by emptying bins and recycling correctly.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work quickly and stay calm under pressure during busy service times.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- No experience needed as full training will be provided.
