Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organised Office Assistant to support our administrative team within our busy vehicle repair garage. This role involves providing essential clerical and organisational assistance to ensure the smooth operation of daily office activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Answering phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Organising and maintaining physical and electronic filing systems
- Assisting with booking in customers and answering customers queries
- Supporting other administrative tasks such as data entry and stock management
- Greeting customers and ensuring they are attended to appropriately
- Ordering and accepting parts deliveries and organising returns
- Maintaining a tidy and organised workspace to promote efficiency
Skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) or similar programmes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst also being a team player
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in all tasks
- Previous experience in an administrative or office environment is desirable but not essential
- Friendly demeanour with strong interpersonal skills
Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
