Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating band saws and possess knowledge of basic maths and mechanical processes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain saw equipment to cut various materials accurately
- Drill and cut materials as needed
- Perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and cuts
- Utilise tooling to ensure precise cutting and shaping of materials
- Use hand tools proficiently to complete tasks
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with equipment
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Saw Operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations
- Ability to work with various materials including metal
- Knowledge of tooling and mechanical processes for efficient operations
