Dental Practice Cleaner
Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Pay: £13 per hour (paid monthly)
Location: Lindley, Huddersfield
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Practice Cleaner to help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control within our dental practice.
This role is essential in supporting the practice’s infection prevention procedures and maintaining compliance with healthcare hygiene and cleaning standards.
The ideal candidate will have previous cleaning experience and understand the importance of maintaining strict hygiene standards within a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough cleaning and sanitisation of all clinical and non-clinical areas within the dental practice
- Clean treatment rooms, reception areas, waiting areas, toilets, staff rooms, and kitchen facilities
- Disinfect surfaces, touchpoints, and equipment in accordance with infection prevention and cross-contamination protocols
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitise floors and surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Safely dispose of waste and follow all clinical and general waste procedures
- Replenish hygiene and cleaning supplies where required
- Complete and maintain cleaning schedules, hygiene logs, and infection control records accurately and consistently
- Report any maintenance issues, spillages, or health and safety concerns promptly
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed in line with practice policies and healthcare hygiene regulations
Requirements
- Previous professional cleaning experience is essential
- Experience within a dental, medical, or healthcare environment is desirable
- Good understanding of hygiene, sanitisation, and infection control standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
- Good communication skills in English
