Join Our Matchday Catering Team at Colchester United Football Club!
Looking for a flexible and rewarding part-time role? We have a great opportunity to join our matchday catering team at the JobServe Community Stadium, home of Colchester United.
We’re currently recruiting Matchday Catering Assistants to work regular 4 hour shifts. Whether you want to earn extra income or build valuable experience in hospitality, this role could be ideal. No previous experience is necessary — we’re looking for friendly, dependable people with strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Duties
- Prepare and serve food and beverages efficiently at designated catering kiosks throughout match days
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in all catering areas
- Assist with setting up and packing down catering outlets before and after matches
- Provide friendly, prompt service to guests, addressing their needs with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Restock supplies regularly to ensure all kiosks are fully equipped during busy periods
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe environment for all staff and visitors
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a smooth, energetic catering operation that enhances the matchday experience
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with a positive, energetic attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments under pressure
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and match days as required
- Previous experience in hospitality or catering is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous
- A proactive approach with excellent teamwork skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift lightweight equipment or supplies when necessary

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
