We are currently recruiting to the post of Senior Environmental Health Practitioner to work within our multidiscipline Enforcement Team. The main areas of work include the use statutory powers to regulate and enforce the law in the areas of private sector housing, environmental crime, anti-social behaviour, fly tipping, nuisance, littering. Whilst, also providing specialised professional and technical expertise in response to consultations from the Planning and Licensing departments.
You will also be responsible for coordinating the tasking of Enforcement Officers, working with specialist officers to deliver service priorities and producing detailed performance and outcome reports. The role will provide many opportunities to gain experience in a wide range of environmental issues and make a positive contribution to the City. We are looking for someone with a high level of enforcement knowledge and experience gained in a wide ranging of environmental issues - who is very competent, high performing, self-motivated and can work well as part of a busy team. Securing compliance and, where necessary, enforcement is integral to the role, and we are looking to recruit someone who can demonstrate recent experience of delivering relevant successful enforcement outcomes.
We provide our team members with high quality equipment and systems to work remotely when required, access to pool vehicles as well as state of the art office facilities here in Civic Offices in Doncaster City Centre.
