How will you make an impact?
The successful candidates will be responsible for part marking all parts we manufacture using Dot peen, chemical etch and ink marking machines

Shift Pattern:
Role & Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Operating the part marking machines (Hand etching / Vibro etching / Dot Peen, Chemi-etch & ink marking) to required standards
- Direct responsibility for marking sensitive components
- Ensuring all markings are legible and comply in size
- Working with planning to ensure parts are marked in accordance to the plan and required standards
- Pressure testing parts to required standards
- Applying berkotec to parts for heat treatment process
- Responsibility for reporting defects and liaising with quality
- Take extreme care and attention in handling aerospace parts.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Carry out TPM checks and assist on machine maintenance when require
Experience, Knowledge & Education:
- Demonstrates computer literacy with experience of Microsoft Office
- Demonstrates a good level of numeracy / literacy
- Demonstrates the ability to follow detailed instructions and read drawings
- A good understanding of Health and Safety.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment (Desirable)
- A good understanding of traceability (Desirable)
- A good understanding of customer drawings.
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to work individually in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a proactive and positive attitude to improvements.
- Relish in challenges and have a can-do-attitude.
- Displays flexibility and adaptability. Willingness to improve on existing skills and learn new ones.
- Cover holidays and capacity issues with overtime when required
- Effective communications skills.
- Understanding of fixtures and tooling (Desirable)
- Ability to be resilient and work well under pressure.
