Evermax Ltd is a growing, family-run commercial roofing and maintenance company based in Doncaster, working on commercial sites across the UK.
We work on a wide range of properties including pubs, supermarkets, retail units, schools and other commercial buildings. No two days are the same – our work ranges from reactive leak repairs and maintenance through to larger roof refurbishment projects.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Roofing Labourer based in Doncaster to join our growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to work hard, learn new skills and build a career within the roofing industry. Previous roofing experience is not essential – the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn are more important.
The role
You will work alongside our experienced roofing teams, assisting with the safe and efficient completion of roofing works.
Your duties will include:
- Assisting roofers with all aspects of roofing work
- Loading, unloading and moving roofing materials
- Preparing and maintaining the work area
- Setting up and maintaining ladders and access equipment
- Using basic hand tools
- Keeping sites clean, tidy and safe
- Following company health & safety procedures
- Communicating with the Supervisor and wider team
- Driving company vehicles to and from sites
- Carrying out other reasonable duties as required
What we're looking for
We are looking for someone who:
- Is based in Doncaster – essential
- Holds a full, clean UK driving licence with no current bans – essential
- Is physically fit and comfortable working at height
- Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
- Is willing to get stuck in and help wherever needed
- Is keen to learn and develop their skills
- Can work well as part of a team
- Is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Understands the importance of working safely
- Has previous construction, roofing or physical labour experience – desirable but not essential
You don't need to be an experienced roofer. If you're hardworking, dependable and willing to learn, we will provide the training and support needed to develop your skills.

Working hours
5 days per week, including rota cover on selected sundays in exchange for a friday off
Early starts are required and working hours will vary depending on the project and location.
The role involves UK-wide travel, and some staying away from home will be necessary depending on the location of the work. Additional payment is provided for overnight stays.
