We are seeking an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Early Help Service Team Administrator to provide high-quality administrative support to the Early Help Team.
This is a busy and rewarding role, supporting practitioners and managers to deliver effective services to children, young people, and families. You will play a key role in ensuring referrals, records, meetings, and communications are managed efficiently, helping families access the right support at the right time.
Working closely with colleagues, partner agencies, and families, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the service through excellent administration, communication, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Early Help Service Team.
- Receive, process, and monitor referrals, ensuring information is recorded accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on electronic case management systems and databases.
- Arrange and support meetings, preparing agendas, circulating documentation, and producing accurate minutes.
- Act as a first point of contact for families, practitioners, and partner agencies, responding to enquiries professionally and sensitively.
- Manage team inboxes, telephone enquiries, diaries, and appointments.
- Produce correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as required.
- Ensure all information is handled confidentially and in accordance with GDPR and information governance requirements.
- Work effectively with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting children and families.
