Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team at the Millennium Forum in Derry/Londonderry, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facility. In this role, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, coordinate staff schedules, and maintain exceptional service quality. Your leadership will inspire a motivated team dedicated to creating a safe, spotless environment for staff and visitors alike. Working hours are 08:30 to 11:30 - 5 days per week
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the cleaning staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to quality standards
- Provide clear instructions and training to team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
- Monitor the use of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper handling and inventory management
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external vendors to address issues promptly and ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate records of work schedules, cleaning logs, and incident reports
- Promote a positive work environment by motivating staff, recognizing achievements, and fostering teamwork
Experience
- Proven experience in cleaning services or facility maintenance supervision
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
