Job Summary
HW Facilities is an established Facilities Management company providing commercial cleaning and support services across the UK.
We are looking for experienced and reliable Cover Cleaning Operatives to support our teams across the West End of London and wider London area. This is a flexible role providing cover for holidays, sickness, vacancies, and additional business needs.
Hours will vary depending on operational requirements, so flexibility is essential. There may be the opportunity for this role to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
You will report to the Team Leader.
As a Cover Cleaning Operative, you will be expected to:
- Provide cleaning services across various client sites, maintaining high standards and customer satisfaction.
- Travel to different locations as required to provide cover.
- Carry out tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning washrooms, and other duties as required.
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues and site employees.
- Keep your knowledge of cleaning practices, products, and techniques up to date.
- Support equality, diversity, and non-discriminatory working practices.
- Follow current health and safety legislation and company procedures.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
- Previous commercial cleaning experience.
- Flexibility to work at different locations across London.
- Flexibility with working hours, including short-notice cover when required.
- Self-motivation, reliability, and enthusiasm.
- Good organisational skills.
- An awareness of relevant health and safety practices and procedures.
