Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms are kept tidy and presentable
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and beverages as required
- Adhere to organisational standards for cleanliness, appearance, and guest privacy
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary and ensure linen is stored properly
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is desirable
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for providing exceptional guest service
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
