Job Overview
Diamond Green Energy is looking for an organised, confident and proactive Customer Service & Scaffolding Coordinator to join our growing team.
This is a varied office-based role combining customer service, general administration and operational scheduling. You will be one of the first points of contact for our customers while also supporting the day-to-day running of our solar installation operations.
A key part of the role will be managing the booking and scheduling of scaffolding for upcoming installations, ensuring customers, scaffolders and our internal team all have the correct information and that appointments are properly coordinated.
You will also be responsible for answering incoming calls and emails, maintaining accurate customer records, preparing post-installation handover packs and providing general administrative support to the wider operations team.
We are a small, family-run business, so we are looking for someone who is happy to take ownership of their responsibilities, communicate openly with the team and get involved where needed.

- Manage and respond to customer email enquiries.
- Deal with routine customer queries and ensure more technical or complex enquiries are passed to the appropriate member of the team.

- Liaise with customers, scaffolding contractors and the operations team to coordinate appointments.
- Manage changes, cancellations and rescheduling where required.
- Maintain an accurate operational diary and ensure relevant appointments and information are kept up to date.
- Prepare and issue customer handover packs following completed installations.
- Update customer records and job information within our CRM systems.
- Maintain accurate electronic records, documentation and filing.
- Support the operations team with general day-to-day administration.
- Assist with keeping customer files complete and ensuring required documentation is correctly recorded.
- Work with other departments to help resolve customer queries and prevent unnecessary delays to installations.
- Take ownership of administrative tasks and follow them through to completion.

- A professional and friendly telephone manner.
- The confidence to take responsibility for your own workload and follow tasks through without constant supervision.
- A practical, positive attitude and willingness to help the wider team when required.
We are happy to consider someone earlier in their career who has the right attitude and ability, but this is a busy role and you will need to be capable of learning quickly and becoming productive within a short period of time.
