The Role
Looking to start your career in customer support? Joining our close-knit Customer Service Team, you will learn how to guide customers through a seamless post-purchase journey. You’ll handle day-to-day queries via phone, live chat, and email. Don't worry if you don't know your pool tables from your pinball machines yet—we will provide full training to help you become a confident product expert.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Customer Journey: Work closely with our sales team to help customers with updates on their orders and answer general enquiries.
- Learn to Problem-Solve: Learn the ins and outs of our products to help residential and commercial clients find the right solutions to their questions.
- Helpful Communication: Act as the first point of contact for customer queries. With our team's support, you'll learn how to handle trickier conversations calmly, patiently, and with plenty of empathy.
- Varied Daily Tasks: From updating customer accounts to providing technical advice, you’ll learn a mix of administrative and communication skills as you grow with the business.
Skills & Experience (No industry experience required—we hire for attitude!)
- Great Communicator: You are friendly, confident on the phone, and able to write polite, clear emails.
- Eager to Learn: You are comfortable using computers (we use Apple Macs, spreadsheets, and Salesforce) and are quick to pick up new software.
- Positive & Patient: You can keep a cool head, listen well, and stay focused on helping the customer when they are frustrated.
- Ambition: A desire to learn and progress—most of our senior management started in exactly this role!
