We're looking for passionate and dependable football coaches to join our growing coaching team in Peterborough.
At Samba Soccer Schools, we provide exciting Brazilian-inspired football coaching for children aged 4–12. Our sessions are designed to help young players build confidence, improve their technical ability and develop a genuine love for the game in a positive, energetic environment.
Our coaching philosophy is centred around three key areas:
Technical Development – Breaking skills down into simple, progressive steps that every child can build on.
Confidence & Creativity – Giving players the freedom to express themselves, solve problems and play with confidence.
Fun & High Energy – Delivering engaging sessions with plenty of movement, music and enthusiasm to keep every child involved.
We're currently recruiting ahead of our September programme and are inviting successful applicants to attend a practical coaching assessment.
Practical Assessments
Practical assessments will take place over the weekend of 15th–16th August.
Assessment places are limited, so we encourage early applications.
What You'll Do
- Plan and deliver engaging football sessions for children aged 4–12.
- Create a safe, positive and enjoyable learning environment.
- Demonstrate football techniques with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Support players of different ages and abilities throughout each session.
- Build positive relationships with parents, players and fellow coaches.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain high coaching standards.
Where You'll Coach
You'll coach at one or both of our Peterborough venues:
1. Lifestyle Fitness Peterborough Regional College
Eastfield Road, Peterborough PE1 4DZ
Fridays – 5:00pm to 7:00pm
2. Stanground Sports Centre
Peterborough Road, Peterborough PE7 3BW
Saturdays – 9:30am to 11:30am
As the programme expands, there may also be opportunities to take on additional sessions across the local area.
We also have coaching opportunities in Crowland and Grantham.
What We're Looking For
- FA Level 1 Coaching Certificate (Introduction to Football Coaching).
- Experience coaching children aged 4–12.
- Enhanced DBS check, ideally issued within the last 12 months, or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong football ability and confidence demonstrating skills.
- A genuine passion for helping young players develop.
- Reliable, enthusiastic and able to travel to the venue each week.
