Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within private homes and commercial premises. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all rooms are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation
- Clean kitchens and bathrooms, including appliances, fixtures, and fittings
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products as needed
- Handle specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet or upholstery cleaning when required
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organising clothes or linens
- Maintain equipment and report any damages or issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning requirements and preferences
Requirements
- Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Basic cooking skills are desirable for assisting with household chores beyond cleaning tasks
- Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and moving equipment or supplies as needed
