We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and energetic teachers and coaches to join our team this Autumn Term.
Available Opportunities
Gymnastics Afterschool Club Teacher
Location 1: Kensal Rise, London NW10
- Day: Monday
- Time: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
- Contract: 21 September – 14 December
- Children: Reception – Year 1 (ages 4–6)
- Pay: £35 per hour
Location 2: Clapton, London E5
- Day: Monday
- Time: 4:00pm – 5:00pm
- Contract: 14 September – 14 December
- Children: Years 1–2 (ages 6–7)
- Pay: £40 per hour
Children practise stretching, balance, flexibility, beginner floor skills, bridges, rolls, cartwheel preparation, simple partner work, and short routines. Sessions combine gymnastics fundamentals with fun movement activities in a supportive environment.
Multisport Afterschool Club Teacher
Location: Islington, London EC1R
- Day: Friday
- Time: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
- Contract: 18 September – 4 December
- Children: Reception – Year 1 (ages 5–6)
- Pay: £40 per hour
Deliver engaging multisport sessions introducing children to a variety of physical activities, including throwing and catching, jumping, balance, agility, mini circuits, team games, and basic gymnastics foundations. Sessions should be active, inclusive, and designed to develop children's confidence and fundamental movement skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging weekly sports and gymnastics sessions for primary-aged children.
- Teach age-appropriate movement skills, coordination, balance, flexibility, and teamwork.
- Adapt activities to suit different abilities and encourage every child to participate.
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Promote children's confidence, physical development, and enjoyment of being active.
- Ensure equipment is used safely and sessions follow health and safety procedures.
- Manage behaviour positively in line with school expectations.
- Communicate professionally with school staff and the Dance&Arts team.
- Arrive on time and fully prepared for each session.
Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Experience coaching or teaching children aged 4–11.
- Experience in gymnastics, PE, multisports, dance, cheerleading, or a related physical activity.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and reliable.
- Able to commit for the full Autumn Term.
Desirable Skills
- Gymnastics, sports coaching, or PE qualifications.
- Experience delivering afterschool clubs or extracurricular activities.
- First Aid and Safeguarding training.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate physical activities.
