About the Role
As a Pre-School Room Leader, you will:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the Pre-School Room
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS standards
- Plan engaging activities that support children's learning, development, and school readiness
- Supervise, mentor, and support room staff, apprentices, and students
- Monitor children's progress and ensure observations and assessments are completed to a high standard
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers
- Ensure safeguarding, compliance, and health & safety requirements are always met
- Lead by example and create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children and staff
Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexible working patterns considered.
Experience: Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Early Years Practitioner is desirable.
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, SEND, and child development
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to motivate and support a team
- Passion for providing exceptional learning experiences for children
