Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Driver/Ground Worker to join our team. This role involves operating heavy machinery, particularly excavators, and performing ground work to support construction and site development projects.
- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with site protocols
- Assist with ground preparation, excavation, and material movement around the site
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes
Requirements
- Proven experience operating excavators or similar heavy machinery
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- CPCS/NPORS
Pay dependant on experience.
Pay: £15.21-£22.76 per hour
Work Location: In person
