We're a growing product design company in year three. We have a team of three at the moment with two mechatronics engineers, and one operations director. We've completed around 45 projects thus far, and do very little marketing (!). Mostly referrals and repeat custom.
We're looking for a part-time member of staff to come on board and help us with building our online presence, tracking business analytics / metrics, building a few customer personae, editing and filming footage of projects, building our website and portfolio, managing and expanding our CRM, and ensuring our brand and messaging is expressed well.
We provide engineering and manufacturing services to - mostly - private companies within the medical, veterinary and agricultural sectors. Our focus is on using a range of skills and equipment to create new solutions for our clients which have a positive impact on the world.
We have a wide range of 3D printers, CNC machines, fabrication kit, laser cutters, and electronics fabrication stations on-site, to both design and produce prototype products from baby formula testers, to large animal veterinary devices.
There's plenty we need help with, across a range of activities, so we'd need a multi-disciplined person who's keen to learn and enjoys working as part of an energetic team. We're only after a part-time position at present.
We have parking on-site, with the nearest public transport being a bus stop 5 minutes walk away on Castlecary Road (I believe).
Hours could be flexible, in-person is preferred so you have a strong idea of what's going on within the business, and can film when we're doing interesting things (e.g. welding, 3D printing, casting, etc) for media & portfolio content.
Happy to chat to a range of experience levels, it's more about your attitude and capability than what you studied at university, or having decades of experience. We likely need someone fairly tech savvy and personable, who's confident they could implement (or quickly learn to implement) the things that we've mentioned.
