Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Assistant to join our team, providing high-quality, person-centered care to individuals with complex health needs. Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care based on detailed care plans tailored to each individual’s needs
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and medication management
- Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity whilst at home
- Use IT systems to accurately record care activities, updates, and observations
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Contribute to reviewing of care plans to adapt to changing needs
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided
- Valid driving license and ability to drive
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to listen actively and convey information clearly
- Basic IT literacy for documentation and accessing electronic care records
- Knowledge of care plans, health & safety procedures, and safeguarding protocols
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support individuals with complex health needs
Pay: From £14.75 per hour
