We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Treatment Co-ordinator to help build and grow our new private services. This is a varied and exciting role that requires a candidate with a mature, open-minded approach, strong initiative, and the energy to drive new services forward. Candidates must hold valid GDC registration.
Initially, the successful candidate will focus on developing and promoting our new hygiene service. The role will involve engaging with patients attending our urgent care service and promoting the benefits of seeing a hygienist through direct access appointments.
Working Hours and Locations
- Monday and Tuesday: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Huddersfield
- Wednesday and Thursday: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Leeds
The position is based across both practice sites, therefore reliable transport is essential.
As part of the role, you will also provide nursing support for a new hygienist, working on alternate weeks across both locations while the service continues to grow.
As the hygiene service expands, we will be launching a new private dental service, and the Treatment Co-ordinator will play a key role in supporting its development and success.
You will be fully supported by an experienced Senior Nurse, Site Manager, and Operations Manager, who will provide guidance and mentorship as the services grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and develop the practice's hygiene service.
- Engage with urgent care patients and educate them about direct access hygiene appointments.
- Support the hygienist through dental nursing duties as required.
- Work across both practice locations.
- Assist with the development and growth of new private dental services.
- Build positive relationships with patients and encourage treatment uptake.
- Attend weekly catch-up meetings with the management team to review progress and support service development.
- Help drive service growth through initiative, organisation, and excellent communication.
