Job summary
Are you a people person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves making a difference every day? Were looking for a warm, organised, and proactive Patient Services Care Navigator to become a valued part of our friendly and supportive team across South Milford Surgery and its branches Thorpe Willoughby and Micklefield.
This is far more than a reception role youll be the welcoming face and reassuring voice of the Practice, playing a key part in delivering an outstanding experience for our patients. Every day brings something different, offering the opportunity to support the smooth running of essential healthcare services.
Main duties of the job
What You'll Be Doing
As a central member of our team, you will:
- Provide a professional, compassionate, and efficient service to patients both in person and over the phone.
- Book appointments, arrange home visits, and respond to patient enquiries with care and confidence.
- Process incoming mail and patient communications accurately and promptly.
- Manage important administrative tasks including medication requests, pathology results and patient follow-ups.
- Welcome and register new patients, helping create a positive first impression of the Practice.
- Prepare and process documents including forms, letters, and fit notes.

- Due to travel required to work across branches the successful applicant MUST hold a clean driving license and have access to a vehicle.
