Cabot Highlands

Acclaimed architect Tom Doak has built a second 18-hole golf course at Cabot Highlands, Old Petty, on a pristine piece of land that plays around the property’s 400-year-old castle. Set to officially open in 2026, the course offers natural contours, meanders along the shoreline, and winds through hillsides and expansive open land. Position Overview
At Cabot our mission is to “Create a Magical experience” for the guest. Housekeeping at Cabot is more than a support role, it is the cornerstone of the guest experience and the Housekeeping members are part of ensuring that each accommodation and guest area delivers first class hospitality.
Core Responsibilities and Competencies
- Cleaning and arranging guest rooms and other areas of guest accommodations
- Cleaning all areas of Clubhouse and staff out building properties
- Gathering and handing over laundry to designated person for pick up by cleaning company
- Stocking and maintaining an inventory of housekeeping supplies
- Dusting furniture or fixtures and polishing them
- Scrubbing and sanitising showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops and sinks
- Vacuuming and cleaning carpets, doormats and rugs
- Reporting breakages, damages and safety issues for repairs
- Adherence to company H&S Policy
- Teamwork

- Excellent timekeeping
- Attention to details
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Previous housekeeping experience welcomed but not essential
- COSHH training desirable
- Knowledge of hospitality housekeeping practices welcomed
Requirements
- Clean driving license
- Own transport is required around site

- Standing or moving around for extended periods
- Lifting and reaching
Working Hours
- 30 hours per week with flexible working patterns and some early morning starts – some weekend working.
