Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a dedicated team on a new customer. This role is vital in ensuring efficient materials handling, accurate shipping and receiving, and continuous process improvement. As a key player in our logistics network, you will drive safety, productivity, and team engagement while maintaining high standards for warehouse management systems and mechanical operations. Duties
- Lead and manage warehouse team members to achieve daily operational goals, ensuring safety and productivity standards are met or exceeded
- Oversee materials handling activities, including loading, unloading, storage, and inventory management using warehouse management systems such as Clarus
- Operate VNA and other mechanical equipment safely for heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety protocols
- Implement process improvements to optimise workflow, reduce errors, and enhance overall warehouse efficiency
- Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, shipments, and warehouse activities for audit readiness
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse management or similar logistics roles with a strong understanding of warehouse operations
- Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred
- Knowledge of logistics processes including shipping & receiving, inventory control, and warehouse safety procedures
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform heavy lifting safely
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and reports
- Ability to adapt quickly to process changes and implement continuous improvement initiatives
