We are seeking a dedicated and passionate LEVEL 3 QUALIFIED Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, demonstrating the ability to manage and lead young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Duties
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in a nursery setting.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, ensuring they cater to the individual needs of each child.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and parents.
- Observe and assess children's development regularly, documenting progress and communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment that supports children's learning experiences.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings while adhering to relevant policies and regulations.
Skills
- Strong experience in childcare with a focus on early childhood education principles.
- Excellent leadership skills to manage groups of children effectively while promoting positive behaviour.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English with both children and adults, fostering strong relationships with families.
- Knowledge of nursery practices and the ability to implement educational programmes that meet developmental milestones.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the capability to drive initiatives that enhance the nursery experience for all children.
