Evenings/ Waking Nights
Care & Community Ltd are currently recruiting Bank Youth Support Workers to help 16–18-year-olds embrace their independence and develop key life skills after leaving the care system in a supportive, nurturing environment.
As we provide 24/7 support to our young people, we are looking for flexible support workers to work across a range of shifts, full-time or part-time, including, days, evenings and weekends. As a bank staff member instead of annual leave an annual leave uplift is added to the base rate of £12.71. The uplift is 12.07% making total pay £14.24 per hour., Certified Qualifications and training.

As a Youth Support Worker, you will:
· Support 16–18-year-old care leavers in developing independent living skills
· Arrange suitable activities in the home setting and in the wider community.
· Support our people in setting and achieving their goals.
For this role you will have achieved, or be prepared to work towards (with full support and guidance):
· Care Certificate in Social or Mental Health
· Level 2 in Health and Social Care
· Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce
We do not require experience for this role, as full training and support will be provided, however, this role may be suited to those with experience as a Support Worker, Youth Mentor, or someone with a natural sense of empathy that is open to problem solving and thinking outside of the box. And most importantly someone who wants to make a difference, to see the best in people and utilise the transferrable skills gained in your personal and work life.
A full driving licence and access to a car is desirable, but not essential.
