At ETM Group, we don't just keep Bristol moving - we keep our own fleet performing at its very best. We're looking for an experienced Tyre Fitter to join our workshop team, playing a vital role in maintaining our fleet of HGVs, trailers, vans and commercial vehicles.

The Role
No two days are the same. From fitting and repairing commercial vehicle tyres in the workshop to responding to roadside breakdowns, you'll be responsible for ensuring our vehicles remain safe, compliant and on the road.
Working alongside our workshop team, you'll carry out tyre inspections, repairs and replacements while helping us minimise vehicle downtime and maintain the highest safety standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Fit, repair and replace tyres on HGVs, trailers, vans and commercial vehicles.
- Carry out tyre inspections and identify wear, damage and safety concerns.
- Complete puncture repairs in line with industry standards.
- Undertake weekly wheel re-torque checks.
- Respond to roadside tyre breakdowns when required.
- Maintain accurate records of tyre work completed.
- Monitor tyre pressures and support effective tyre management.
- Maintain workshop equipment and clean, safe working areas.
- Follow all company Health & Safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience fitting tyres on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
- Knowledge of commercial tyre sizes, specifications and safety standards.
- Ability to diagnose tyre issues quickly and effectively.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliable, positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Flexibility to participate in an on-call rota where required.
The role involves regular manual handling and lifting of commercial vehicle tyres. You must be able to carry out these duties safely, with appropriate training and equipment where required.
Desirable
- REACT (or equivalent) Tyre Fitting Qualification.
- HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Licence.
- Mobile tyre fitting or roadside breakdown experience.
- Knowledge of fleet tyre management systems.
