We are looking for a qualified dental nurse or in training dental nurse to work in our independently run (non-corporate), mainly private clinic in Edinburgh.
We carry out all fields of dentistry including implants and aligners.
This position would be a part time, permanent position. We need someone to work 2.5 - 3 days a week - potentially 2 full days and a half day. Hours are negotiable from 20-25 hours a week.
The Barron Dental team are looking for a motivated, friendly person to join our team. You will be supported throughout your training.
This position would be suitable for someone who is:
- excellent in their communication skills
- experienced in patient care
- organised and with attention to detail
- enthusiastic and eager to learn
- able to work on their own initiative, as well as part of a team
This position will involve:
General dental nursing duties
- Liaising with dentists, practice manager and other staff
- Decontamination duties
- Liaising with patients (requests/enquiries)
- Giving appointments using computerised diary system
