We are looking for a friendly, hardworking and enthusiastic lighting professional to join our Production Team.
We are recruiting to a single post, which may be appointed at either Lighting Technician or Chief Lighting Technician level, depending on the skills, experience and expertise of the successful candidate.
Our welcoming Production Team provides technical services for performances, hires and events across a wide variety of genres in our three receiving venues. We are committed to delivering the highest standards of technical production, presentation and service.
This includes the safe and efficient preparation of spaces, pre-rigs, focus, fit-ups, and get-outs.
In this role, you will work closely with the Technical Manager, Production Manager and the wider Production Team to deliver exceptional experiences that aim to delight. You will be a key point of contact for all aspects of production lighting, helping to ensure that every event exceeds expectations.

Position Details:
Full-time permanent position 40 hours per week (across the pay period)
We require applicants to be 18 years old or over
28 days/5.6 weeks holiday including bank holidays
Salary: £32,240 per year (All salaries are reviewed annually)
The key objectives of this role:
To be responsible for the delivery of all technical equipment and production lighting requirements for performances and events throughout Anvil Arts venues
To be committed to the highest standards of technical production presentation and service with the aim of delivering a customer experience that delights and is above expectations
To assist with lighting upgrades and maintenance needs of Anvil Arts venues
To assist with forward planning for the months and seasons ahead, including the requirement for pre-rigs, equipment moves, potential hires, Panto planning and any other lighting preparation
To create and update relevant plans, inventories, and documentation held for use by in-house technicians and visiting companies
To act as a primary point of contact for the visiting company and house crew on a day-to-day basis, and in the absence of the Technical Manager and Production Manager
