Part-time Sales & Marketing Executive – Drinks, Hospitality & Nightlife
Location: De Beauvoir, London, with travel to partner venues and events in central London
Job type: Part-time, temporary contract initially
Hours: Minimum 10 hours per week, with flexibility around events and activations
Pay: £15+ per hour depending on experience, plus commission and performance bonuses
About the opportunity
Minerol is looking for an ambitious, commercially minded person to help drive the next stage of our growth across London’s drinks, hospitality and nightlife scene.
This role would suit an excellent graduate, apprentice or early-career candidate looking for hands-on experience in sales, marketing and startups. However, we are also very open to hearing from more experienced candidates with relevant drinks, hospitality, FMCG or on-trade experience, particularly where they can bring an existing network or proven sales ability.
This is a temporary, part-time role initially, but there is genuine scope for it to develop into something longer term for the right person.
About Minerol
Minerol is a functional alcohol alternative made for social occasions. It offers a credible alternative for people who want to be part of the night without drinking alcohol or relying on caffeine.
We are a small, ambitious startup building a presence across London’s nightlife, hospitality and wellness scenes, with stockists already in respected venues. You will work closely with the founders and have the chance to make a visible contribution to the growth of the brand.
The role
This is primarily a field sales and business development role, focused on helping Minerol win new stockists, build relationships with venues and increase sales through existing partners.
Alongside this, you will help develop Minerol’s social-media presence and digital marketing output. You will support the creation of content, help keep the website and social channels current, and use digital activity to drive awareness, traffic and sales conversations.
No two weeks will look exactly the same. One week you may be researching and approaching target venues; another you may be supporting an activation at a London bar, capturing content for Instagram and TikTok, or helping prepare a sales campaign.
Key responsibilitiesSales, partnerships and venue growth
- Researching and approaching potential stockists across bars, clubs, restaurants, cafés, gyms, wellness venues and independent retailers.
- Supporting outreach to buyers, venue managers, bar managers and distributors.
- Helping arrange tastings, meetings, product drops and trial activations.
- Building relationships with existing venue partners and helping drive visibility, staff engagement and reorders.
- Keeping track of leads, conversations, venue feedback and sales activity.
- Identifying creative ways to get Minerol into the right venues, events and communities across London.
Marketing, content and digital growth
- Helping manage Minerol’s social-media channels, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
- Creating or coordinating short-form social content, including photos, video clips, venue content and customer reactions.
- Supporting content capture at activations, venue nights and events.
- Helping turn existing venue relationships into credible social proof and sales content.
- Supporting updates to the Minerol website and helping improve how the brand communicates online.
- Helping drive traffic to Minerol’s social channels and website through content, outreach and partnerships.
- Bringing ideas on how Minerol can stand out in the functional drinks, nightlife and wellness space.
Who this role would suit
You do not need to have done every element of this role before. We are more interested in someone who is proactive, personable, organised and excited by the chance to get involved in a growing consumer brand.
You may have experience or a strong interest in:
- Drinks, FMCG, hospitality, nightlife, events or wellness.
- Sales, business development, account management or customer-facing work.
- Social media, content creation, photography, short-form video or digital marketing.
- London’s bar, restaurant, club and event scene.
- Startups and early-stage brands.
Existing drinks-industry, hospitality or on-trade experience would be a significant advantage, particularly for more experienced applicants.
What we are looking for
- Confident speaking to new people and opening conversations.
- Commercially minded, with an interest in sales and building relationships.
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
- Organised and reliable, with good attention to detail.
- Strong written communication and a professional approach to outreach.
- Comfortable attending occasional evening or weekend activations when needed.
- A genuine interest in brands, culture, hospitality, social media and nightlife.
- A practical, hands-on attitude. This is a startup role, so you will have the opportunity to get involved across different areas of the business.
What we offer
- £15+ per hour, starting at a minimum of 10 hours per week.
- Commission and performance-related bonuses linked to commercial results.
- Flexible working around your availability and the needs of the business.
- Direct exposure to the founders and the opportunity to have real influence on the direction of the brand.
- Hands-on experience across drinks sales, partnerships, activations, social media and digital marketing.
- A strong opportunity to build a portfolio of commercial and creative work.
- Potential for the role to develop into a longer-term position.
- Potential future equity or longer-term incentive opportunities for someone who makes a meaningful contribution to Minerol’s growth.
