Lead Respiratory Nurse (Practice Nurse) – 30 to 37.5 Hours per Week
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Respiratory Nurse to join our client in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled nurse with a strong background in respiratory care to take a lead role in managing long-term respiratory conditions within a well-established GP Surgery.
Hours
- 30 to 37.5 hours per week
- Flexible working available (e.g. 30 hours across 4 days)
Salary
- £24–£25 per hour (depending on experience)

- Patient list size: 8,800
- Clinical system: SystemOne

Key Responsibilities
- Lead respiratory clinics within the practice
- Provide high-quality care for patients with COPD and Asthma
- Deliver chronic disease management for long-term conditions
- Carry out routine Practice Nurse duties including:
- Adult immunisations
- Childhood immunisations
- Cervical screening (smears)
Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse (NMC)
- Experience in Chronic Disease Management / Long-Term Conditions
- Strong experience managing COPD and Asthma
- Relevant respiratory certificates or demonstrable clinical experience
- Competent in immunisations and cervical cytology
Desirable
- Experience leading respiratory services within primary care
- Confident working autonomously within a GP practice setting
