Are you a creative, caring and enthusiastic person who loves making a difference? Thorney Croft Care Home is looking for an Activity Coordinator to join our friendly team and help create meaningful, engaging experiences for our residents.

What You'll Do
- Plan and deliver a varied programme of activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
- Organise individual and group activities including games, arts and crafts, music, exercise, reminiscence sessions and celebrations.
- Encourage residents to participate while promoting dignity, independence and choice.
- Build positive relationships with residents, relatives and the wider team.
- Arrange visits from entertainers, local community groups and volunteers.
- Support seasonal events, themed days and special occasions.
- Keep accurate records of activities and resident participation.
- Help create a warm, vibrant and welcoming atmosphere throughout the home.
What We're Looking For
- A positive, energetic and compassionate approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and confidence in leading activities.
- The ability to motivate and engage people with a range of needs and abilities.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Previous experience in a care setting or activities role is desirable but not essential.
- A genuine passion for improving the quality of life for older people.
