Ventol is a growing mechanical and electrical contractor delivering high-quality building services solutions across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team, based in London.
The Role
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover. You will manage programme, cost, quality, and health & safety, while coordinating closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Projects typically include commercial offices, banking, retail, healthcare, and educational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical services projects from award to final account
- Plan and deliver works in line with programme and budget
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, and material procurement
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and legislation
- Lead site teams and attend progress, design, and client meetings
- Monitor project costs, variations, and commercial performance
- Oversee commissioning, testing, and handover documentation
- Ensure high standards of health & safety and quality are maintained at all times
About You
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within an MEP or building services contractor
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, pipework, plant, etc.)
- Experience delivering projects in live or occupied environments preferred
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
- Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and variations
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Full UK driving licence
