- Maintain health & safety standards. i.e. Ensuring that manual handling tasks are completed correctly, ear defenders are worn where required, fire doors kept clear, staff are rotated etc.
- Ensure that, food safety, quality and hygiene standards are maintained across your area of leadership.
- Allocate new staff a buddy, ensuring the relevant training paperwork for this is kept up to date. Help to train new staff and develop existing staff to achieve their potential maintaining business standards.
- Maintain clean as you go.
- Lead your team to achieve targets. Minimising waste whilst retaining the quality standards expected from our customers.
- Planning workloads, allocating tasks and monitoring progress against targets
- Devising work schedules and implementing deadlines
- Compiling staff rotas, dealing with annual leave requests and arranging cover when necessary
- Briefing their teams on new initiatives, changes to targets and company news
- Report any issues you are unable to resolve to your manager.
- Ensure that your team return from breaks on time
- Any other reasonable tasks that are required by the business.
Pay: £30,896.88 per year
