We have a vacancy for a full time role to join our established team at our popular Peak District cafe. We have high standards, brilliant regulars and pride ourselves on delivering excellent coffee and service every time. July start; minimum 32 hours per week including one weekend day. Summary
We are seeking a passionate and friendly Barista & cafe assistant to become an integral part of our team in the heart of the village. Based in Eyam in the Peak District, you will contribute to delivering exceptional customer service while preparing delicious food and beverages, embodying our commitment to quality and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure the cleanliness of the cafe.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
- Support team members as needed to deliver an outstanding cafe experience.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Previous experience in food preparation is advantageous.
- A friendly attitude, team spirit & ability to work in a busy environment are essential.
Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
