Moira Wong Orthodontics seeks a qualified dental nurse to join our friendly private modern surgery in Kensington. We treat adults and children and carry out a range of dental and orthodontic treatments.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly specialist orthodontic team.
This is a busy role, working alongside an Orthodontic Specialist and a team of orthodontic therapists who sees new patients throughout the day.
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Chairside assistance during orthodontic consultations and adjustment appointments.
Assisting the Orthodontic Specialist with all clinical procedures.
Taking accurate orthodontic measurements and recording clinical findings.
Writing detailed and accurate clinical notes on behalf of the clinician.
Preparing surgeries and instruments in accordance with cross-infection protocols.
Providing excellent patient care and support throughout appointments.
Sterilisation, decontamination, and stock management.
Maintaining patient records and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
Carrying out all routine dental nursing duties to a high standard.
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.
Essential Requirements
Qualified Dental Nurse with current GDC registration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accurate note-taking skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy specialist practice.
Professional, reliable, and well organised.
Confident using dental software and maintaining electronic clinical records.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude.
Orthodontic experience and a knowledge of SOE would be helpful
Starting as soon as possible the working days are Wednesday 8am-8pm and Fridays 11.30am-7pm and additional days can be discussed.
