Company Overview
CST Training is an ambitious and rapidly growing private training company. We are a leading provider of professional development and vocational training across a wide variety of industries, including Construction, Project Management, and Leadership & Management.
Our portfolio includes qualifications and courses such as NVQs, CITB, PRINCE2, ILM and CMI.
Our mission is to empower individuals and organisations with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. We value honesty and openness and promote a workplace built around teamwork, collaboration and delivering an exceptional experience for our customers.
As CST Training continues to grow, we are expanding our sales operation and are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our Weekend Team, supporting customers and converting inbound enquiries across our Thursday-to-Monday operation.
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our office-based sales team in Bexley.
This is a full-time weekend-focused role, working Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday as your regular days off.
You will primarily be dealing with inbound enquiries from prospective customers, understanding their training requirements, recommending the most appropriate courses or qualifications and converting opportunities into sales. You will also try to engage customers who we haven't been in touch with for a longer period of time or who have recently completed a course.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably with knowledge or experience of construction qualifications, project management, or leadership and management courses such as NVQs, CITB, PRINCE2, ILM and CMI.
Full product training will be provided, but you must have the willingness and ability to continuously develop your knowledge as new qualifications are added to CST Training's portfolio.
Customer service is a major part of this role. Every enquiry is important, and we expect our Business Development Executives to provide a high standard of service regardless of the complexity of the customer's requirements.
You will regularly communicate with customers from a wide range of backgrounds, so patience, empathy and professionalism are essential. You must be confident navigating language barriers, different levels of understanding and challenging conversations while maintaining a positive, respectful and solution-focused approach.
