GG’s Gelato & The Estuary – Morning Cleaner
Reports to: Duty Manager
Hours: Early mornings (6am-10am) – approx. 4 hours per day
Days: between 2 and 4 days a week
Objective
To consistently deliver exceptional cleanliness standards across both GG’s Gelato parlour and The Estuary, ensuring all areas are fully prepared for daily service and aligned with the brand’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all areas of the parlour and The Estuary are cleaned to an exceptional standard prior to opening each day.
- Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene across all front-of-house and customer-facing areas.
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks efficiently to ensure readiness for service.
- Follow and maintain structured cleaning schedules, ensuring they remain up to date and effective.
- Work closely with the Duty Manager and wider team to align cleaning priorities with daily operations.
- Identify and resolve routine cleaning and maintenance issues.
- Monitor and maintain cleaning stock levels, ensuring supplies are always available.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or equipment concerns promptly.
- Continuously look for ways to improve cleaning efficiency and overall standards.
- Support the wider team in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the business at all times.
- Undertake any additional duties as required to support the needs of the business.
