We are looking for someone confident and motivated to join our Toyota Sales team.
About the Role:
SLM Toyota Norwich has adopted a collaborative Customer Consultant approach to provide a continuous customer journey through the vehicle sales and aftersales processes. We are looking for someone to join as a sales-focused Customer Consultant.
The role involves building a rapport with our customers to advise on products which best suit their needs, including finance and add-on products. You will work as part of the sales team to ensure that our customers receive outstanding customer service from the start of their journey through to handover and provide aftersales support.
Our Customer Consultants work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm, and Saturday 8:30am to 5:30pm with a day off in the week. No Sundays!
Key responsibilities:
- Sales-focused multiskilled role providing support to our aftersales team and customers
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Assist clients through the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-purchase support
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong customer relationships
- Engage with business customers for fleet sales
- Stay up to date with Toyota cars and LCVs and product offerings
- Ensure compliance with sales processes and company standards
- Work as a full member of the dealership team
What we’re looking for:
- Previous sales experience is preferrable
- Enthusiasm and drive to sell cars
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport and deliver a personalised customer experience
- Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven approach
- Comfortable using digital tools and systems
- Full UK driving licence
