We have a fantastic opportunity for Press Brake Operators to join our clients team based at their site near to Alsager!
Our client is a large fabrication company that prides itself in being able to offer stable, long term employment in the area. Having been successful year upon year they are now looking to expanding their Press Break team!
This role is being offered on a permanent basis, therefore meaning, you'll be employed directly by the client on a full time permanent contract.
Weekly pay + Joining bonus!
What you'll be doing:
You'll be part of our clients Press Break team responsible for setting up and operating a press machine (Amada and/or Edward Pearson).
You'll run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches to produce parts for assembly operations. Whilst reading from technical drawings and conducting quality checks on work produced.
The ideal candidate will be someone with at least 2 years press brake operation experience that have the ability to use basic hand tools.
Hours:
There are two shift patterns to pick from, earlies and lates.
Candidates will start on a day shift initially whilst in training.
Once training is completed, you can choose a fixed early or late or rotating early and late shift pattern.
Days:
Monday - Thursday 07:30hrs - 16:30hrs and Friday 07:30hrs - 12:30hrs.
Earlies:
Monday - Thursday 06:00hrs - 14:00hrs and Friday 06:00hrs to 12:00hrs.
Lates:
Monday to Thursday 14:00hrs - 22:00hrs and Friday 12:00hrs - 18:00hrs.
Rotating shift pattern:
Week one - Monday - Thursday 06:00hrs - 14:00hrs and Friday 06:00hrs to 12:00hrs.
Week two - Monday to Thursday 14:00hrs - 22:00hrs and Friday 12:00hrs - 18:00hrs.
Pay:
£32,000 - £42,000 per year, depending on skills/ previous experience.
+ £2000 signing on Bonus.
WEEKLY PAY - PAID EVERY FRIDAY.
Skills/Experience required:
The ideal candidate will be someone with previous Press Brake experience, a keen eye for detail and be able to work as part of a team.
