The Role
Key Responsibilities:
You will be accountable for ensuring a perfect paint finish on all products as well as working with a sense of urgency and purpose. We will train and support you to be the best you can be in executing this
- Powder Coating products.
- Ensuring they’re baked correctly.
- Managing the throughput of workload into and out of your department.
- Prepping products for powder coating when necessary.
- Spotting any defects and reporting them back to manufacturing.
- Ensuring equipment and filters are cleaned as per rota.
- Paperwork management.
- Adhering to our 3S'ing rota.
- Embracing our Lean culture.
REQUIREMENTS
- Have experience with working in a powder coating / paint shop
- Ensure quality is added with each process
- Have a good understanding of the set up, operation and maintenance of our powder coating equipment
- Understand and implement personal and company safety measures including using the correct PPE at all times
- Have great communication skills, they are essential to work with team members and converse with customers and clients
- Possess the ability to stay focused for long periods of time
- Be confident to speak up in daily company wide meetings
- Be able to work in an relatively isolated environment for up to 3 hours at a time
- Be well presented with good dress and demeanour
- You self educate by reading books

Experience:
- Industrial painting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
