Responsibilities

- Demonstrate proper techniques for food preparation, knife skills, plating, and kitchen safety
- Provide clear, detailed instructions and constructive feedback to enhance student learning outcomes
- Maintain an organized and safe classroom environment, ensuring all equipment and ingredients are properly prepared
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages creativity, experimentation, and active participation
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with program coordinators to develop new course content aligned with current culinary trends and standards
Experience
- Proven experience as a professional chef with a strong background in various cuisines and cooking techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly and engagingly
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience in culinary arts or related fields is highly desirable but not essential
- Familiarity with IT tools for lesson planning, virtual demonstrations, or digital assessments enhances the teaching experience
- Strong organizational skills to manage class schedules, ingredients inventory, and safety protocols effectively
